LOOP is the first international trade show dedicated exclusively to the art in video format, which as an initiative of the Association of Art Galleries aims to turn the city Barcelona meeting point for artists, gallery owners, collectors, curators, directors of museums and all kinds of people interested in video art.
18 to November 21, 1950 rooms on the first floor of Barceló Hotel Sants will be occupied by 50 international galleries that, upon selection, will present their proposals for video art. Also available a900m2 space in which institutions and museums present their collections of video art. Magazines and publications specializing in contemporary art also occupy a prominent place at the fair. Off
LOOP - The Festival
LOOP'04 Coinciding with the exhibition, Barcelona will become capital again with a program of video art around the city. The LOOP Off this year, will screen works by over 150 artists in 40 different venues from galleries to museums that have already participated in last year, as the MACBA, Joan Mir Foundation & oacutee; and Casa Asia. It is also expected to Paseo de Gracia and other singular points of the city presented video installations in their windows.
